Scheduling Clerk/Community Assistant

Position Summary
This role supports day-to-day community operations by assisting with scheduling for Health Services and handling key administrative and payroll-related tasks. You’ll work closely with the Health Services Director and leadership team to help keep things running smoothly for both employees and residents.
What You’ll Do
Scheduling & Health Services Support
- Build and maintain schedules for Health Services staff (RAs, Nurses, Med Techs)
- Coordinate and track PTO requests to ensure proper coverage
- Support nursing staff with day-to-day administrative needs
- Coordinate education and training opportunities for Health Services team members
- Assist with planning and organizing Health Services-related events
Payroll & Onboarding Support
- Assist new hires with timeclock setup
- Support payroll processing tasks as assigned
- Distribute paychecks after leadership review
- Help coordinate Welcome Week orientations for new team members
Administrative & Community Support
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee and resident information
- Submit required documentation to the Home Office on time
- Order and manage supplies, business cards, name tags, and resident door plates
- Support accounts receivable with miscellaneous adjustments
- Provide general administrative support across departments as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with schedules, deadlines, and changing needs
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Any certifications required by state or provincial regulations
