This position is based in Burnaby, with travel to Victoria required approximately every two weeks. ‘Your role in achieving results:’ We are looking for a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to join our team, supporting both our Burnaby and Victoria Fresh facilities. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, driving impactful HR initiatives while supporting leaders and employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Serve as a strategic HR partner and coach to site leadership, influencing business decisions and people strategies Lead and support employee relations, including interpretation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and grievance management Drive workforce planning initiatives, including talent management, succession planning and critical role development Contribute to and deploy the Human Capital strategy, acting as a change agent across both sites Support managers with HR best practices, policies and compliance with employment laws and regulations Lead health & safety culture initiatives, including injury management and return-to-work programs Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness Participate actively in plant leadership committees and continuous improvement initiatives ‘What we are looking for to deliver these results:’ Bachelor's degeree in Business Administration, major in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations, required. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Business Partner in a unionized manufacturing environment required.
